Although they are two complementary techniques of divination, keep in mind that they are very different.

Through this study and hand analysis we get to know personality features, as well as future developments of the person, physical or emotional ailments, strengths and weaknesses, different stages they might be going through, etc. Chiromancy is a refined technique, it is the result of many years of study, observation and objective analysis of hand features for years until nowadays, when the knowledge and study keeps evolving.

Palmistry, by contrast, does not require a previous study, since everything that can be seen that is related to the person is actually merely intuitive, pure clairvoyance through hands.
